Oltre la danza moderna

Non pago della 'modern dance' dei suoi Pere Ubu, negli anni ottanta, il pingue cantante David Thomas, arruola il meglio dell'intelligencija musicale per continuare il suo destrutturante programma musicale: Mayo Thompson dei Red Crayola, Richard Thompson dei Fairport Convention, Chris Cutler, John Greaves e Lindsay Cooper deigli Henry Cow oltre ad altri ex ubu-iani accompagnano gli spericolati equilibrismi vocali di Thomas. Un'ottima serie di album dove spiccano soprattutto 'The sound of the sand' (1982) e 'Monster walks the winter lake' (1986).
